CarBike Japan Policy
Auction Terms
Version: 2026-07-auction-v1
1. CarBike Japan-Owned Inventory
Only CarBike Japan may list vehicles on this auction platform. Third-party sellers are not permitted.
2. Bidder Eligibility
Bidding requires a verified account, acceptance of these Auction Terms, and confirmation of the required Purchase Reserve by CarBike Japan.
3. Binding Bids
Every submitted bid is a binding offer. Bids cannot be withdrawn, reduced, or cancelled after submission, except where required by applicable law.
4. Minimum Increment and Closing Time
Bids must meet the displayed minimum next bid. A bid received near the scheduled closing time may automatically extend the auction by the displayed anti-sniping period.
5. Reserve Price
A vehicle may have a confidential reserve price. The highest bid does not result in a sale unless the reserve price is met or CarBike Japan expressly accepts the result.
6. As-Is, Where-Is
Vehicles are offered As-Is, Where-Is. Used vehicles may contain visible or hidden wear, deterioration, repair history, corrosion, missing parts, mechanical issues, electrical issues, mileage discrepancies, or other defects.
7. Photos, Videos, and Third-Party Information
Photos, the engine start video, auction sheets, inspection information, mileage records, and vehicle descriptions are provided as reference information. They may not reveal every visible, mechanical, electrical, intermittent, or hidden condition and do not replace the As-Is, Where-Is terms.
8. No Cancellation After Winning
A winning bidder must complete payment within the specified deadline. Vehicle-condition complaints, returns, refunds, price reductions, and cancellations are not accepted except where required by applicable law or where CarBike Japan acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
9. Export, Shipping, Taxes, and Registration
Unless expressly included in the listing, export, inland transport, shipping, insurance, duties, taxes, inspections, registration, and destination-side charges are separate and remain the buyer’s responsibility.
10. Technical Error, Fraud, and Cancellation
CarBike Japan may suspend, extend, invalidate, or cancel an auction or bid where there is a material listing error, system failure, suspected fraud, unauthorized access, bidder ineligibility, or another circumstance that threatens a fair and lawful auction.
11. Final Confirmation
Before placing each bid, the bidder must review the vehicle, bid amount, applicable fees, payment terms, delivery conditions, cancellation restrictions, and As-Is terms.
12. Governing Law
These Auction Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, except where mandatory applicable law requires otherwise.
